Saturday 5th April

We had a fantastic Friday evening with our neighbours, including a surprise early birthday cake - when that day comes around we'll hopefully be south of the Gironde.

Sophie and Henry excelled themselves with a themed cake - Henry attached a Lego character on loan to further personalise the creation (we know he was looking for a man with a pony-tail and, will overlook the fact that it actually appears to be a woman in a basque - or perhaps I'll keep coming back to it).

Saturday night had a sense of Waiting for Godot; bags packed and bikes ready to be loaded for the Sunday start of what should be a trip to remember.
